Mary is a natural connector and fierce advocate for what she believes in. Mary founded Field Guide Inc, a strategic communications and public relations consultancy, in 2013 as a way to blend her diverse experience and professional background with her passion to create more good in the world. From her activism at the crossroads of environmental, social, and racial justice, to her unwavering support of local businesses, Mary approaches Field Guide as an extension of how she lives her values. She understands the power of language and connecting stories to new audiences, and is thrilled to serve on the board of BIPOC Foodways Alliance and looks forward to helping bring important food stories to new audiences with a goal of dismantling white supremacy in the process.
