Board Chair

Katie grew up in a small town up north, and found her way to Minneapolis to build better markets and technology for farmers and BIPOC food businesses. Her career has spanned from running farmers markets to building the Northside Food Business Incubator in partnership with Appetite for Change and NEON in North Minneapolis, to software companies building tools for supply chain collaboration. For 4 years, she sat on the board of the Sustainable Farming Association and continues to work towards a system where farmers are rewarded for their ecologically-minded stewardship of their land.
